The poet laureate Goethe created a cultural monument with "Götz von Berlichingen". Hohenlohe is the stage for world literature. The knight spoke his vulgar "Götz quote" during the Peasants' War in Krautheim. His last resting place is at Schöntal Abbey, which is one of the highlights of Hohenlohe's building culture. It demonstrates wonderfully what greatness the human striving for beautification and perfection is capable of.
